Objectives:
- To understand the nature of a Six Sigma culture and to be able to contribute substantially to its development
- To understand and apply the DMAIC phasing and control points to your project
- To know what Six Sigma is and to be able to apply Six Sigma concepts for the purpose of improving the bottom line
- To understand the need for a well-defined project and that good project management practices, along with teamwork, change management practices, and voice of the customer are all needed for project success
- Develop an appreciation for the need and use of statistics in process improvement
- Be able to describe a process numerically
- Be able to use and apply the basic graphical tools and charting techniques
- Understand the relationship between variation and the cost of poor quality
- Be able to conduct a Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to determine the integrity of the data we are getting
